What is Life Coaching?

Simply put, life coaching is a collaborative partnership to help you get from where you are to where you want to be.​

I'm a certified life coach (Martha Beck Inc.) with 10+ years working with clients in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and internationally. I help clients achieve their personal and professional goals more efficiently and effectively by connecting the dots and getting to the heart of the matter.
Understanding When Life Coaching Helps
Life coaching is forward-focused, goal and action oriented with created plans and accountability. It is not therapy or consulting.

When You Should Consider Therapy? ​​If you're experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, or other mental health concerns, therapy is a better fit.
Life coaching complements therapy, but doesn't replace it.

How Life Coaching Works
Although life coaching can have similar components, every life coach has their different style and format. Here's an idea of the work I do with clients.

One–to–One Life Coaching Sessions
I work with clients one to one as opposed to group coaching. By working with clients one to one, I'm able to go deeper and learn more about them in order to help them identify and achieve authentic goals.

Life Coaching That's Customized to You
Because I offer packages, not a set or one size fits all program, I'm able to customize sessions and the package to meet the needs of the client. This includes customizing exercises and resources to aid the client's progress.

Structured and Goal Specific
Even though sessions and packages are customized, we work within a certain structure. I offer 3, 6, and 12 month coaching packages. Something you can learn more about here. Sessions are also structured into three parts, guided by specific goals, in order to facilitate effective change.
